2. Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport (Durgapur Airport)
Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport, is a domestic airport, which is situated near Durgapur.
This domestic airport was inaugurated by chief minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee.
This domestic airport connects West Bengal with other important cities of India like, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
Presently, the airport is served by Air India and Spicejet.
3. National Institute of Technology, Durgapur
National Institute of Technology, Durgapur (NIT, Durgapur) is a public technical university located in Durgapur.
It was established in the year of 1960. NIT Durgapur currently ranked 47th among all engineering colleges in India.

4. Durgapur Barrage
