You need the following documents to fill up Form 13 online:

Aadhar card
Address proof of the new location

Steps to apply for splitting family in Ration Card (Form 13) online

To change ration shop for part family or splitting family,

Step 1: Go to the Official WB Ration Card website

First, go to the official website of the West Bengal Food Department at food.wb.gov.in.
Once the website opens, click on the ‘Citizen’s Home’ option.
Next, click on the ‘Ration Card Related Corner’ option.
Next, click on the ‘Services Requiring Office Approval’ option.
Next, click on the ‘Apply Online’ option.
Next, click on the ‘Form 13’ option.

Step 2: Log in to the WB Digital Ration card portal

Now, enter the ration card category.
Next, enter the registered mobile number of your family.
Next, click on the ‘Get OTP’ button. You will receive an OTP on your registered number.
Next, enter the OTP in the specified field and click on the ‘Proceed’ button.

Step 3: Fill up FORM 13

The home screen of the ration card portal will appear in front of you.
Scroll down to the forms section and click on “Apply Now” below Form 13.

Next, select the name of the members you want to a new family/split from the current family.
Next, click on the “Next” button.
A new page will appear in front of you.
You will be asked to fill up your Aadhar Card details if you have not already.
Next, fill up your new address in the next section.
Next, select the head of this new family.
Next, verify contact details.
Next, click on the checkbox and then click on the “Next” button.
A new page will open up in front of you.
Next, select the new ration shop and kerosene shop by entering the details of the new address.
In the “supplementary document” section upload address proof of the new address.
Next, click on the “It’s okay” checkbox.
Next, click on the “Proceed” button.

Step 4: Submit FORM 13

After a new page opens, click on the “I Certify” checkbox and then click on the “Get OTP” button.
Next, enter the OTP in the specified field and click on the “Submit OTP” button.
Once you do that you will get a success notice showing that your form is successfully submitted.

Step 2: Enter your ration card number

Next, enter the ‘Ration Card Number’ in the specified field.
Next, click on the ‘SEARCH’ button.
The Ration Card details will be shown on the screen.

Step 3: Verify OTP

Next, tick the consent box.
Next, click on the ‘SEND OTP’ button.
An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Enter it in the specified field.
Next, click on the ‘Submit OTP’ button.
The details of the family will be shown on the screen.

Step 4: Apply for splitting family

Next, tick the boxes under ‘Select’, to choose the family members you want to split.
Next, click on the ‘NEXT’ button.
The selected members will be shown on the screen.
Next, select the HOF under ‘Please Select HOF’, from the given options.
Next, click on the ‘YES’ button, if you want to change the address, otherwise click on the ‘NO’ option.
Next, click on the ‘NEXT’ button.

Step 5: Submit the application

The selected members and the HOF will be shown on the screen.
Next, tick the ‘Terms and Conditions’ box.
Next, tick the ‘No objection’ box.
Next, click on the ‘SUBMIT’ button.
The successful submission message will be shown on the screen.
