Decrease in daily COVID cases in Paschim Bardhaman

Paschim Bardhaman: After averaging at around 130-140 new cases per day, the number of new COVID cases in the Paschim Bardhaman district of West Bengal decreased in the last two days.

For how long this decrease in the cases will be there is not known for sure.

The West Bengal government bulletin showed that after 119 cases were reported on 22nd September, 89 and 88 were reported in 23rd and 24th September respectively.

There has been a 33% decrease in the daily reported cases in the district.

The current number of active cases in Paschim Bardhaman district, last reported on 24th September is 893. Last week it was near 1000.

This released data by the West Bengal government bulletin showed that there is a decrease in the number of daily new cases and increase in the number of people who recovered.

The total number of cases in the district is at 6696. The total number of people who recovered and were discharged is 5747.

In West Bengal, the total number of COVID cases crossed 2,41,000. There are currently 25,374 active cases in the state.
