To create an account on the WBSEDCL portal,

Step 1: Go to the official website

  1. First, go to the official WBSEDCL portal at wbsedcl.in.
  2. Next, click on the ‘Register your Mobile, E-Mail’ option.
  3. A User Registration Form will open.

Step 2: Enter Consumer ID

  1. Next, enter the ‘Consumer ID’ in the specified field.
  2. Next, click on the ‘Continue’ button.
  3. Next, enter the ‘Installation No. (No/Type)’ in the specified field.
  4. Next, click on the ‘Continue’ button.

In case you have forgotten your Consumer ID, you can click on the ‘Register using Meter number’ button and enter your meter number.

Step 3: Verify your Email and Mobile number

  1. Next, enter your ‘Email ID’ in the specified field.
  2. Next, click on the ‘Send OTP’ button. An OTP will be sent to the email entered.
  3. Next, enter the OTP in the ‘Provide OTP’ box and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  4. Next, enter your ‘Mobile Number’ in the specified field.
  5. Next, click on the ‘Send OTP’ button. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.
  6. Next, enter the OTP received in the ‘Provide OTP’ box and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 4: Create a password

  1. Your name will be shown on the screen.
  2. Next, enter the ‘Password’ you want to set in the specified field.
  3. Next, re-enter the password in the ‘Re-type Password’ box.
  4. Next, click on the ‘Confirm’ button to create your password.

A new page will open showing the message that you are registered successfully. Your user ID will be your Consumer ID.

By following these steps, your WBSEDCL account will be created successfully. You can then avail various services like downloading your Bill or applying for load enhancement online.
