The West Bengal government will start phase 3 of its outreach program, known as the Duare Sarkar Camp Prakalpa, from 16th November.

This scheme was started back in December 2020.

1. Lakshmir Bhandar

Lakshmi Bhandar Prakalpa is a new scheme introduced by the West Bengal government to provide monetary support to the female head of the family with low income.

Rs. 1000 and Rs.500 per month will be provided to the female heads of SC/ST and general families respectively.

2. Swasthya Sathi

Under the Swasthya Sathi scheme, the Government of West Bengal provides basic health cover of Rs. 5 lakhs per annum per family.

This scheme is applicable to all families earning below 1.5 lakhs per annum.

You can register yourself for this scheme through the Duare Sarkar camps in your locality.

3. Kanyashree

The Kanyashree scheme is introduced by the West Bengal government for the girls of West Bengal in the age of 13 and 18 years.

They receive monetary support of Rs.750 a year for their education.

Girls who complete their education also receive a one-time grant of Rs. 25000 once they turn 18 years.

4. Student Credit Card

Under the Student Credit Card scheme of the West Bengal government, any student can take a loan after 10 Lakhs at a nominal rate.

The student can pay back the loan after getting a job.

5. Khadya Sathi

Citizens of West Bengal can easily apply for a new Digital Ration Card or any modifications in the existing ration card, under the Khadya Sathi scheme.

6. Caste Certificates

7. Sikhashree

Sikhashree is a scholarship for students belonging to the SC/ST category in Class 5-8.

Under this scheme, eligible students receive financial assistance for their education.

8. Rupashree

The Rupashree scheme was introduced by the West Bengal government to provide financial assistance to girls from poor families who are about to get married for the first time.

You will get one-time monetary support of ₹25000 before your marriage if you are eligible for the scheme

9. Bardhoka Bhata or Old age Pension

10. Protibondi Bhata or Disability Pension

The government of West Bengal provides a monthly pension of Rs. 1000 to physically challenged citizens with very low family income, under the Protibondi Bhata scheme.

11. Bidhoba Bhata or Widow Pension

12. Jai Johar and Taposili Bandhu

The Jai Johar and Tapashili Bandhu Schemes are introduced to provide financial assistance in the form of pensions to the SC/ST citizens of the state.

These schemes are together known as the Jai Bangla Pension Scheme. You can apply for these schemes through the Duare Sarkar Camps.

13. Aikyashree

The Aikyashree Scholarship was introduced for the students of the minority communities of West Bengal.

Eligible students get financial assistance for education from Class 1 to Ph.D. under this scheme.

14. Bank Account Opening

You can open your bank account with various banks through the Duare Sarkar camps.

This will be done so that beneficiaries of different government schemes can receive the money directly in their bank account.

15. MANABIK Scheme

The Manabik scheme is for physically challenged citizens of West Bengal with low family incomes.

Eligible citizens receive a monthly pension of Rs. 1000 per month under this scheme.

16. Agricultural Land Records Correction

Various small agricultural land record corrections can be done through the Duare Sarkar camps.

17. MGNREGS or 100 day’s work

You can apply for a Job Card through these camps under the MGNREGS or the 100-day work scheme by the West Bengal government.

18. Krishak Bandhu

The Krishak Bandhu scheme was introduced for the farmers of West Bengal. Under this scheme, the farmers received annual financial support of Rs. 10000.

Also, in case the farmer dies before the age of 60, the family of the farmer gets a death benefit of Rs. 2 lakhs.
