The waiting ends and counting start. It’s time to find out the luck for both the opponent teams.
13th August is the day when the state’s all 7 municipality voting process will take place.
Today, the state election commission has decided the date of the election.
The result of the same will be declared on 17th August. The government had proposed the date 6th August for the state’s 2nd stage municipal election to the commission. But they didn’t respond to it. Though, already considering 6th August party leaders have started their preparation.
Previously on 14th May municipality’s 1st stage election was stopped in Haldia. After that everyone was concerned about the election in Durgapur.
On the other side, the time was run out on 29th June for the municipality led by Trinamool. After the expiration of the position, the duty was handed to the government.
Besides the main opponent in the industrial belts has proclaimed for the re-election. Amidst that unreliable sources said that on 6th July government asked the election commission to change the date from 6th August to 13th August.
Then today the final election date 13th August has been confirmed by the commission.
