New guidelines announced regarding COVID situation in Durgapur

Durgapur: On 20th July, new rules were announced, regarding market hours in Durgapur.

In the previous Notice, it was mentioned that the market hours of various markets and shops all across Durgapur will be from 8AM to 1 PM.

On 27th July, a new notice was released by the SDO of Durgapur with a few changes to the previous one.

In the new notice, it is mentioned that the maket hours will now be from 8AM to 2 PM all across Durgapur.

This new rule is applicable to all shops across Durgapur Municipal Corporation and other areas in the Durgapur Sub division.

However medicine shops and other essential services are excluded from this new rule.

In this new notice from the Office of the Sub Divisional Magistrate, it was also mentioned that the new timings of Shopping malls across Durgapur will be from 12 noon to 6 PM.

This new rules comes in effect from tomorrow, 28th July 2020.

According to the latest WB Health bulletin, till Sunday, 26th July, the total number of cases in Paschim Bardhaman were 706.

The total number of currently active cases in the district rose to 347.
