Durgapur: According to a notice by the Town Service of the Durgapur Steel plant, the power supply of various areas of Durgapur Steel Township will remain suspended on specific days starting from 14th November 2022.

The reason stated for this scheduled shutdown of the power supply of the Durgapur Steel township is for the preventive maintenance of the 11kV Transmission and Distribution System with Transformer for the year 2022 – 2023.
The notice mentioned a detailed list of the days on which the power supply will remain suspended and the areas.
It was also stated that the power supply will remain suspended from 9 AM to 2 PM.
The complete schedule for the shutdown of the power supply of various areas of Durgapur Steel township is given below in the notice.
This preventive maintenance schedule started on the 14th of November 2022 and will continue till the 23rd of February 2023.

It will be done in steps. The power supply of each area will be temporarily suspended from 9 AM to 2 PM for 3-6 days.
