Durgapur: Dakshiner Khaibar Pass, popularly known as the food mela of Durgapur, will also be organized this year.

This food festival hosts stalls of restaurants, not only from Durgapur but from all of West Bengal. Popular restaurants such as Dada Boudi Restaurant of Barrackpore, Sweets shops like Mouchak, and others set up stalls serving delicious foods.

This year, the Food Mela of Durgapur is organized at the SACAA Shyama Puja Moidan, Kabi Guru 2nd Storage, Pritilata Wadedar, SAIL Co-operative City Centre, Durgapur.

The timings of the Mela are from 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Dakshiner Khaibar Pass is being organized for the sixth time in Durgapur this year. If you are going by bus, get down at Kabiguru 2nd Stoppage.

Car parking is also available if you are going by car or bike.

There will be a variety of food stalls ranging from, fish fry, Kababs, and Bamboo Biryanis to Veg Thalis.

The Turkish Ice Cream which was an unique attraction last year, is going to be there this year as well.

Other unique foods like Lebanese Shawarma Wraps, Tandoori Momos, Bamboo Chicken, Crabs, Octopus, etc. will be present.

A variety of Mocktails and Paan Stalls will also be there.
