Kolkata: India’s 59th Vande Bharat Express, the Howrah – Gaya Vande Bharat Express is all set to make a stop at Durgapur. This express train was inaugurated on September 15, 2024, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing.

The train will run on this route six days a week (Friday to Wednesday) and will have a travel time of approximately 5 hours and 40 minutes. The regular operations are expected to start from September 18, 2024.
The expected timetables of the trains on the UP and DOWN routes between Howrah Junction and Gaya Junction are provided below:
