Department of Biotechnology, NIT Durgapur is inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow.

The post is purely on contractual basis till the end of the project.

Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim any regular appointments/absorption in this institute.

Project Name: Design of modular peptide nanotubes platforms by the self- assembly of shortest helical building blocks for application as ion channel mimic.

Educational Qualification

Candidate must have done M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology or an allied area with at least 60% marks.

Candidates should have a NET/GATE qualification.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a fellowship of ₹31,000 per month.

Fellowship is available for a maximum period of 1 years.
