Amar Karma Disha Career Assessment Scheme West Bengal

The West Bengal government has released a new career assessment initiative or scheme known as Amar Karma Disha Prakalpa.

Under the Amar Karma Disha initiative, students or youngsters can take a small test and play a short game to determine the kind of career that is most suitable for them. A unique ID will also be generated that can be used in the future.

Steps to register and take Amar Karma Disha test online

To register for the Amar Karma Disha initiative and take the test,

Step 1: Go to the official website

  1. Go to the official website of Amar Karma Disha at amarkarmadisha.tatastrive.com
  2. Enter your mobile number and date of birth.
  3. Click on get OTP.
  4. Enter the OTP in the specified field.
  5. Click on “Submit”.
  6. A new page will open.

Step 2: Fill your personal details

  1. Now a short form will open.
  2. Fill the form with details about you like Name, Education, email, etc.
  3. Click on “Save”.
  4. A new page will open.

Step 3: Play the short assessment game

  1. Now you need to play a short game.
  2. Watch the instructions provided in the video properly.
  3. Now click on “Play Game”.
  4. Now complete the game as instructed by choosing Yes/No/Maybe.

Step 3: Take the career assessment test

  1. Once the game is completed, now you will be asked to take a small test through a chat interface.
  2. Click on “Start”.
  3. You will be given certain situations and will be asked what you will go in such situations.
  4. Answer them by selecting the options you like.
  5. Once its completed, your career assessment report will be generated.

Step 4: Download career assessment report

  1. Now click on “Click here” option.
  2. Click on “Yes”.
  3. A number of career options will be suggested. You can know about those careers by clicking on the specified options.
  4. Now click on “Report Download” to download the career assessment report.

You can click on the “Contact for counseling” option to register for counseling under the Amar Karma Disha Prakalpa. A career counselor will contact you in this case regarding your skill development options.

By following these steps you can easily register and take the Amar Karma Disha Prakalpa. You can also apply for career counseling under the scheme and take various courses for skill development under the Utkarsh Bangla scheme of the West Bengal government.

Amar Karma Disha career assessment report

Once you take the assessment test, you will be given a career assessment report based on the answers provided by you.

This report may vary from person to person.

Here you will get a Holland code or a code for your personality type based on Dr. John Holland’s theory of career and vocational choice.

You will be provided skill development options and career opportunities based on this.

However, it is not mandatory to choose these career options only. You can choose any career or skill development course you want. These are just recommendations.
