Step 1: Go to the official website of UIDAI

  1. First, go to the official website of UIDAI at uidai.gov.in.
  2. Next, go to the My Aadhaar tab in the main menu.
  3. Next, click on the ‘Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID’ option from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Enter name and mobile number

  1. On the new page, you will have two options, ‘Aadhaar number’ and ‘Enrolment ID’.
  2. Select the one that you want to search for.
  3. Next, enter your full name.
  4. Next, enter your Mobile number or email ID linked to Aadhar or used during the application.
  5. Next, enter the captcha code.
  6. Next, click on the ‘Send OTP’ button.

Step 3: Get Aadhar card number or Enrollment ID

  1. Next, enter the OTP received in the specified field.
  2. Next, click on the ‘Login’ button.
  3. Your ‘Aadhaar number’ or ‘Enrolment ID’ will be sent to your registered mobile number.
