Steps to book Driving Licence test slot online

To book a slot for Driving Licence (DL) test online,

Step 1: Go to the official website of Parivahan Sarathi

  1. First, go to the official website of Parivahan at parivahan.gov.in.
  2. Next, click on ‘Online Services’ and select ‘Driving License Related Services’ from the drop-down.
  3. Next, select your state.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Appointment’ option

  1. The Parivahan Sarathi portal will open.
  2. Next, click on the ‘Appointment’ option.
  3. Next, click on the ‘Slot Booking’ option on the top menu.
  4. Next, click on the ‘DLTest Slot Booking’ option.
  5. A new page will open in front of you.

Step 3: Enter DL Application Details

  1. Next, enter ‘Learning License Number’ or ‘Application Number’ in the specified field.
  2. Next, enter the ‘Date of Birth’ in the specified field.
  3. Next, enter the captcha in the specified field.
  4. Next, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  5. All your driving application details will open in front of you.

Step 4: Select your DL slot

  1. Next, click on the ‘Track’ option and select the one you want.
  2. Next, tick all the appropriate vehicle types you want.
  3. Next, click on the ‘Proceed to book’ button. 
  4. A new page will open showing the available slots in green.
  5. Next, click on any of the green slots you want.

Step 5: Complete DL Slot Booking

  1. Next, click on the ‘Book Slot’ button.
  2. A security code page will open.
  3. Select the mobile or email option where you want to receive the code.
  4. A code will be sent to that mobile number/email.
  5. Next, enter the ‘Security Code’ in the specified field.
  6. Next, click on the ‘Submit’ button, and then, click on the “Confirm to Slot Book” button. 

Your Driving License Exam Slot will be booked successfully.

You can now visit the RTO on the selected date with all the required documents and take your Driving Test.
