Step 1: Go to the official website

First, go to the official website of UIDAI at uidai.gov.in.
Next, click on the “My Aadhar” option that appears on the top menu.

Step 2: Log in to the My Aadhar portal

Next, enter your ‘Aadhar Number’ in the specified field.
Next, enter the ‘Captcha Code’ in the specified field.
Next, click on the “Send OTP” button.
The OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Next, enter the OTP in the specified field and click on the “Login” button.

Step 3: Lock Aadhar Biometrics

You will get two options: to unlock your biometrics temporarily or permanently. Tick the appropriate option.
